Preparing Your Bacon
Slow-fry your bacon in a skillet the old-fashioned way until you’ve reached your desired crispiness.
For easier cooking, try cooking your bacon in the oven for the same mouth-watering flavor with less work. Simply set your oven to 400 F, line a shallow baking sheet with aluminum foil, and place the bacon directly on the foil or on a wire rack. Then, cook for 15-20 minutes, depending on how crisp or chewy you like your bacon. Cleanup is easy, and you’re free to do something else while it’s cooking.
Our bacon goes great as a side for breakfast or any other meal, and it’s a perfect match to eat on a salad, baked potato or a BLT. Bacon drippings also can be used to season vegetables or as an ingredient for cornbread.
